Wii U

From Accessible Gaming Wiki

The Nintendo Wii U is an eighth-generation video game console developed by Nintendo. It was first released in North America on November 18, 2012. The sixth home console in the Nintendo family, it succeeded the Wii and preceded the Nintendo Switch. The Wii U is backwards compatible with Wii games and accessories, but it does not support GameCube games.

The Wii U introduced the Wii U GamePad, a tablet-like controller with a built-in touchscreen that can be used for asymmetric gameplay and off-TV play. It also supports the Wii Remote, Nunchuk, Classic Controller, and other Wii accessories.

The console has built-in Wi-Fi, internal flash storage available in 8 GB or 32 GB capacities, and an SD card slot for expanded storage. It also has four USB 2.0 ports for external hard drives. Video output supports up to 1080p through HDMI.
