Marvel's Wolverine

From Accessible Gaming Wiki

Blind

Below are some tips and tricks to help you get through the game as a blind gamer.

Unable to Get Past the Keypad

If you are unable to figure out the code for any keypad in the game, it is likely because you have experiential vibrations turned on instead of functional vibrations. Go to Settings, Controls, and set Vibration Mode to functional. You may notice that the game states Experiential Vibrations contain all vibrations, but this is not the case. This is something that needs to be fixed because many blind players are encountering this issue. It's alsow orth noting that functional vibrations are turned on when selecting the Vision preset. If you did not select this preset when customizing your accessibility settings, then there's a fair chance you are using experiential vibrations.

Getting Stuck While Using Nav Assist

Certain sections of this game have the player moving around sharp corners, navigating narrow sections, traversing over gaps, or climbing obstacles. When encountering these potential blockers, it is easy to become frustrated or confused about what to do. The fact of the matter is that Wolverine can move faster than navigation assist can orient you. A fix for this in some players' experiences is to slow down time (adding it as a quick shortcut toggle). This can help you slow down, keep Logan on the trail that nav assist points you toward, and get stuck less often.
