Hardware/Glydr

From Accessible Gaming Wiki

Glydr unlocks the power of the feet. It reimagines interaction by using natural movements of the feet - plantarflexion, dorsiflexion and eversion - to control two independently rotating pedals from a neutral position while seated. It can be configured to generate any keyboard, mouse or gamepad input via USB. Configurations are managed with a Control Panel application that is supported on Windows, MacOS, and Linux. It can be used to control movement in PCVR and FPS games using the Hoverboard mode where the feet can steer just like the popular device. In advanced configurations, the device can be configured for up to 16 keys and/or buttons. In gamepad mode, the user can use a hand controller in tandem with Glydr. Glydr has haptic motors that we plan to enable for game output. LED lighting schemes and other settings can be customized.
